Medical Internship 

Statement

I had the honor of working and training with Drs. Ledesma and Shindler as an intern and assisting with patient care. In order to make sure that correct and current information was easily accessible for medical practitioners to employ in their treatment plans, a substantial portion of my duty was updating patient information by evaluating reports and examinations. I received practical experience during my internship preparing patients for medical procedures like doing X-ray imaging. I also had the good fortune to administer innovative therapies like laser therapy and shockwave therapy, which allowed me to gain experience in these modalities. Altogether, my internship allowed me to aid in leaving a positive impact on the lives of patients and equipped me with invaluable interpersonal skills and experience that will serve me well as I pursue a career in healthcare.
